How much will my tattoo cost?
Time will tell. My rate is $100 - $150 an hour depending on the subject. I do not give estimates or quotes as every piece I do is different in terms of concepts, size, location, and complexity. Tattoos can be expensive. Make sure you budget accordingly.
How long will my tattoo take?
There are too many variables to definitively say how long it will take. Every piece is different in terms of size, location, and complexity. A clients budget, pain tolerance, and flexibility of schedule can all factor into how long a tattoo can take as well. For larger multiple session tattoos you will need to wait a minimum of one month in between appointments to let your tattoo fully heal before working on it again.
How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Make sure you are well rested, hydrated, and have eaten beforehand. Clients are permitted to bring food and beverage in a sealable container to enjoy in a designated area. Wear clean, loose fitting clothing that will not interfere with the area you are getting tattooed. Your skin must be free of abrasions, sun damage, acne and other skin conditions. If you are currently on any medications or you would like to take any over the counter pain relievers make sure that they are not blood thinners. I recommend Tylenol if you would like to take a mild pain reliever before your appointment. For clients with a very low pain tolerance there a topical pain relievers on the market. Just do the research and figure out what will work best for you. Consult your physician if you have any medical conditions or allergies that could prevent you from getting a tattoo.
Can I bring family, friends, or pets?
We recommend you come alone for longer sessions. But you can bring one friend or family member to your appointment. Due to Covid-19 restrictions they may be required to sit in the waiting area outside of the tattoo station. Pets are not allowed in the shop.
Can I sign for a minor?
No. We only tattoo clients ages eighteen and up. All clients will need to show a valid ID, drivers license or passport with a photo identification. Minors are prohibited from entering the business.
